We have extensive experience in supplying quality tooling from overseas and have developed over time some of the very best stamping die partners in SE China. No tool gets shipped from China without meeting Mission Tool & Machine quality standards and being signed off by our staff located in the country. All of our partners in China are career tool & die makers from upper management to the die maker.
Mission Tool & Machine provides our customers with a cost-effective way to design, build, and prove the capability of our stamping dies. We will communicate directly with your engineers to ensure nothing is lost in the translation.
We invite and encourage our North American customers to visit our partners. However, we also understand the high cost of making multiple trips overseas to monitor individual projects. Our services are here to limit those costs and allow our engineering management group to shoulder those responsibilities.

- Assist with material shipments & customs to China
- Detailed timelines, critical paths & milestones for tooling.
- Strip Layouts & Die Design Reviews in North America with Mission Engineering Personnel.
- Design approval initiates machining and program managers in China and the U.S. to communicate weekly updates to customers
- Mission Engineers on site during program build.
- Part drawings / written tolerances initiate a sampling/measurement plan for a finished part from the die.
- PPAP 300 parts, 30-piece capability study of critical dimensions & 6-piece 100% dimensional layout.
- First hits in the country require inspection gauges. Mission offers 3rd party certified gauges and R&R studies for all gauges built in China
- After PAPP runoff: tear down and 100% review of details and fittings completed before shipping.
- Die to try out and Runoff completed in our Louisville, KY plant.
- Dies are shipped to customers for in-house trial, and Mission will attend these run-offs.
